FitClub Keto Platinum Review

Exogenous ketones are the ultimate solution for losing weight and facilitating a ketogenic diet. They are dietary supplements that function as a catalyst for reaching a state of ketosis and fostering weight loss. Exogenous simply means not produced within the body but taken externally. Ketones are compounds produced naturally in the body, so exogenous ketones are considered to be a natural way to speed up the rate of weight loss. These supplements are designed to work in conjunction with a ketogenic diet and a proper exercise.

Understanding Ketosis

Achieving a state of ketosis requires a lot of patience, hard work, and determination. Maintaining that state is even harder. Exogenous ketone supplements are a great asset when following the keto diet. They speed up the process of achieving and also maintain a state of ketosis.

Moreover, they are also said to help improve other activities like cognitive functions, health, and longevity. Today we are going to concentrate on how these supplements work, and we will identify some of the best ones that are available in the market.

What is BHB?

You have likely come across the name BHB if you have ever searched through the keto diet and supplements market. The term BHB is short for beta-hydroxybutyrate. It is the most common active ingredient in exogenous ketone supplements.

Many sellers market their products as BHB supplements, this is simply another term for exogenous ketone supplements. Whenever our bodies don’t have carbohydrates to burn, they produce BHB from fats which then provides energy. Before purchasing any exogenous ketone supplement, it’s important to ensure that it contains BHB, like FitClub Keto Platinum which pairs perfectly with a keto diet to help you achieve ketosis.

A good supplement has to meet the following conditions: should be made with only natural flavors, contain BHB salts and should be free from carbs. For optimal results, your product of choice should not contain any poor ingredients that do not directly improve your health.

Ketone Salts and Ketone Esters

There are three types of exogenous ketone supplements. Namely: ketone salts, ketone esters, and ketone oils.

Ketone salts

Ketone salts occur naturally as compounds of either sodium, calcium, or potassium. Their compounds contain BHB which improves their absorption. Currently, many Supplements found in the market contain ketone salts, such as the products at FitClub Keto which contain an all-natural BHB formulation. Commercially these supplements are usually labeled “BHB Mineral Salts” and “Ketone Mineral Salts”.

Ketone oils

We can boost ketone levels in our body using medium chain triglycerides (MCTs), e.g. coconut oil. MCTs are broken down by the body cells to produce energy which is in turn used to produce ketones. This is an indirect method of supplementing ketones, and thus the ketones are not readily available as they are in ketone salts. However, it is still a very valid option of supplementing the keto diet, albeit indirectly.

Ketone esters

Unlike salts or oils, ketone esters are manufactured synthetically. They link a ketone body to alcohol which undergoes metabolism in the liver to form a ketone. Currently, they are unavailable in the market. Researchers commonly use them to run tests. They are said to have a very unpleasant taste.

A group of researchers recently conducted a four-week study on rats to determine the difference in functioning between esters and salts and found that esters were more effective at reducing weight gain. However, by the end of the research period, the total of BHB salts combined with MCT oils was equal to the body weight results of the ketone esters.

We should also note that even though raspberry ketones are a common diet supplement, they are unrelated to exogenous ketone supplements and their effect on fat loss is very negligible.

My best ketone supplement is…

Having studied and experienced these salts for a while now, I firmly believe that salts are the best source of BHB. Most people find supplements containing BHB to be the most useful exogenous ketones. They are usually sold as drinks, pills, etc. Esters may seem like a better choice, but they do have side effects including bloating, severe diarrhea, and an unpleasant taste. Oils are also a good choice but have to be paired with salts for better results.

My personal favorite product is FitClub Keto Platinum, but you don’t have to take my word for it. Check out these FitClub Keto Platinum Reviews from real customers to find out how this supplement can change your approach to the keto diet.

Benefits of Exogenous Ketone Supplements

Other benefits of using ketone supplements include:

  • Quicker weight loss
  • Reduced hunger
  • More regulated blood glucose
  • Boosting mental focus
  • Decrease in inflammation

Ketone supplements should be taken before a work out for extra energy or in between meals.
